The Weaver and Sandstone Cycle Forum was set up to advocate, promote and monitor cycle use in the area of North Cheshire from Ellesmere Port to Halton; including Helsby, Frodsham and surrounds, so that cycling is a popular mainstream mode of travel, with accessible routes which are safe, convenient, accessible, comfortable and attractive for adults and children.
The forum's meetings are attended by:
- local people with a diverse range of recreational, health and utility interests in cycling (all abilities) known as Cycle North Cheshire;
- representatives of local cycling and related businesses;
- representatives and/or guests of local/national organisations (eg parish councils, local highway authorities, Cycling UK, Sustrans, British Cycling)
The forum usually meets on the second Tuesday of alternate odd-numbered months - usually at the Frodsham Medical Centre, but sometimes elsewhere. The date of the next meeting and its location are shown below.
New attendees are most welcome. If you'd like to make contact with us, please use the 'contact us' link.
